A 'habitable' earth-like planet, which is orbiting around a sun-like star 600 light years away, has been discovered in our galaxy for the first time, researchers say.
NASA's Deep Space Networks will help India to track the Mars orbiter's journey, and will also help to track it when it will go around Mars, reports Ritu Jha from California.
The company and US government agency will work together to develop data management and computing tools, as well as promote entrepreneurial initiatives in outer space.
The agreement was signed at American space agency NASA's Ames Research Centre in Silicon Valley this week and it would be formally announced on Tuesday. Apart from India, the countries which signed the pact with the US are Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and South Korea.
